Celebrations Over Eid al-Fitr 2023 in Dubai

We Wishes Its Clients A Happy Eid al-Fitr

April 20 to 23 are expected to be non-working days in Dubai, commemorating Eid al-Fitr (Uraza Bayram), which means “the festival of breaking the fast”. One of the UAE’s major national holidays marks the end of the Holy Month of Ramadan. The first day of the celebration begins at sunrise, when people wash their body, dress in new clothes and perform a common prayer, known as salat. When Ramadan comes to an end, Muslims present each other with gifts, spend time with their families and friends and visit their relatives’ graves.

The authorities within the emirate do not stay away, as they arrange large-scale celebrations for residents and guests of Dubai. This year, there are plenty of exciting events to discover, including concerts, gala dinners and shows, attractive promotions and final sales in the malls. The festivities will begin with traditional fireworks, which will be displayed at various locations across Dubai. Last year, spectacular pyrotechnic shows took place at Global Village, Dubai Festival City, Bluewaters Island.

On April 21, Etisalat Beach Canteen will launch its festival in Dubai, with the outdoor culinary celebration being held on Jumeirah Beach next to Sunset Mall. It is expected that a visual show called Eid Mubarak, can be viewed from the Burj Khalifa from April 20 to 23, similar to the last year. The Dubai Fountain show will become a part of the spectacular programme and is best enjoyed beside the Dubai Mall and Souk Al Bahar. Among other interesting events is Eida Al Menhali’s concert at Dubai Festival City Mall, scheduled for April 23. The performance will begin at 9 pm, while guests are expected to arrive from 7 pm. The cost of tickets starts from AED 308 (USD 84).

During the celebration of Uraza Bayram, the whole city, including its picturesque markets, hotels, leisure parks and shopping malls, will be flooded by a special warm and inspiring atmosphere. Metropolitan Premium Properties joins the festivities and congratulates you and your family with Eid al-Fitr. Let us wish you peace, happiness and joy. Eid Mubarak!
