Putting safety first
Brigadier Juma Salem bin Suwaidan said the crackdown was all about preventing accidents and keeping the community safe. He emphasized that this kind of behaviour doesn’t reflect UAE values or the true spirit of the celebrations — road safety will always be the top priority.
He also urged parents to keep a close watch on their kids during major events and steer them away from things like spraying pedestrians or cars with foam, since it can be risky and cause needless problems.
Appreciation for responsible celebrations
Dubai Police gave a shout-out to the majority of residents who celebrated responsibly and said they’ll keep working to ensure public safety during big events.
The message is clear: have your fun, enjoy the celebrations — but keep the roads safe for everyone.
