Attention, travelers…
If you’re traveling to Dubai between now and the end of the year, get ready for a special memento stamped in your passport upon arrival: a unique stamp featuring the ‘Zayed and Rashid’ logo.
This initiative is part of the #ZayedAndRashid campaign, which honors key national milestones in the UAE. It’s a tribute to the nation’s Founding Fathers, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum.
The exclusive, limited-edition passport stamp is part of a campaign launched by the creative division of the Government of Dubai Media Office, under the guidance of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council.
It showcases a striking black-and-white image of the Founding Fathers sharing an embrace. Passengers traveling until December 31, 2024, will have the chance to receive this special stamp in their passports.
The #ZayedAndRashid campaign was launched in partnership with 53 government, semi-government, and private sector organizations. It celebrates the enduring legacy of Sheikh Zayed and Sheikh Rashid, whose visionary leadership and efforts built the foundation for a nation that has since become a global symbol of innovation, prosperity, and happiness.
The campaign kicked off on November 3 with UAE Flag Day and will culminate on Eid Al Etihad, December 2, 2024. A variety of events, activities, and initiatives are giving citizens, residents, and visitors a chance to reflect on the UAE’s extraordinary journey since its founding.
This includes the reopening of Flag Garden and the unveiling of the iconic mural of the Founding Fathers on the facade of The Gate Building at Dubai International Financial Centre.
Across the UAE, there will be a variety of cultural events and initiatives to get involved in. You can learn more about Eid Al Etihad here, and stay updated on what’s happening by checking out whatson.ae to discover exciting ways to celebrate during the upcoming public holiday.
