The wait is finally over as after months of hot and humid nights, the UAE weather is taking a welcome turn towards cooler conditions
Temps are finally cooling down across the UAE, bringing crisp evenings, chillier mornings, and the first real vibes of autumn. With the season shifting, residents can get excited for cooler nights, the comeback of early morning or sunset strolls, and more quality time outdoors — minus the brutal summer heat.
When it will feel cooler
Starting this week, night-time temps across the UAE are set to drop below 25ºC for the first time since summer — a clear sign that the weather is finally shifting towards cooler, comfier vibes.
What happens next
The real shift kicks in after the autumn equinox on September 23, 2025.
By early October, daytime highs will chill out around 30ºC, and by mid-October, evenings will start dipping below 20ºC.
Come November, expect cooler days staying under 30ºC, and by December, nights will be flirting with 15ºC — officially ushering in winter vibes.
Why the weather is changing
This cool-down lines up with the UAE’s seasonal calendar.
The Safriya season kicked off on September 6, marking the start of autumn, and follows the rise of the Al Jabha’ constellation — a traditional heads-up that cooler days are on the way.
The first clue that summer was winding down? The appearance of the Suhail star in UAE skies on August 25 — a classic signal that the intense heat was starting to ease.
Time to enjoy the outdoors again
With evenings now dipping into the low 20s, the new season has officially landed — serving up the perfect excuse for sunset strolls, alfresco dining, beach hangs, and finally soaking up some fresh air after months of being cooped up inside.
