Every so often, the UAE drops something new that reminds you exactly why it’s a cultural heavyweight on the world stage. One moment you’re out for brunch, and the next you’re stepping into a space that fuses heritage, craftsmanship, and pure artistic wow-factor… and somehow it all fits perfectly.
And now, get set—because Abu Dhabi has just rolled out a new landmark that’s about to become your next “you have to check this out” must-see.
Say hello to ADREA! A new home for classical horsemanship and culture

Over on Jubail Island, a brand-new cultural hotspot has just opened to the public: Abu Dhabi Royal Equestrian Arts (ADREA). And trust us, this is not just another venue. It’s the first institution of its kind outside Europe—and only the fifth classical horsemanship school on the entire planet. Yes, the world.
The star of the show is Furusiyya
Their flagship weekly show, Furusiyya: Return to Origins, takes you on a journey tracing the Arabian horse across continents and through centuries.
You’ll watch the story flow from serene desert landscapes to the majestic halls of Europe… before returning to its roots in Arabia. It’s rhythm, choreography, precision, and pure emotion—wrapped into a performance where the entire arena becomes a living piece of art through light and movement.

If you’re into culture, performance, horses, history, or just want a unique weekend plan, this is one for the books!
ADREA has been created as a full-on cultural discovery hub:

The Furusiyya Gallery: A beautifully curated space packed with artefacts, manuscripts, and centuries of Arab horsemanship history.
The Library: Home to one of the world’s largest equestrian collections, with over 15,000 volumes. Yes—fifteen thousand.
The Atelier: A behind-the-scenes look at artisans keeping the tradition of saddle-making alive. Watching the craftsmanship up close is honestly hypnotic.
Ethr at the Library: A calm, mindful space open daily for anyone who wants to unwind in a cultural atmosphere.
Knead Bakery: Open every Saturday on performance nights (and you already know it’s going to smell incredible). More dining concepts are also on the way.
Whether you’re a history buff, a horse lover, or just someone who loves discovering new places, this is one spot you’ll want to add to your weekend roster ASAP.
