As temperatures soar across the country, both parents and authorities have expressed concerns about the impact of extreme heat on students during their school day. In response, some schools have rolled out a new timetable, starting at the end of April, to help students better manage the heat until the summer vacation begins.
The UAE Ministry of Education has announced that, to help students beat the heat, classes will run from 7:15 AM to 1:35 PM, Monday through Thursday, and from 7:15 AM to 11:00 AM on Fridays. A smart adjustment to make the school day more manageable during the hot months!
The focus on punctuality and academic continuity will remain unchanged, with the only adjustment being the shift in timings. School administrations have provided clear guidelines, confirming that school gates will open at 7:00 AM and close promptly at 7:30 AM.
