Dubai Marina’s New Mosque Can Accommodate More Than 1,600 Worshippers

A stunning new place of worship

A stunning new mosque has just opened in Dubai Marina, with a capacity to accommodate up to 1,647 worshippers. The late Sheikh Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Mosque, featuring breathtaking Ottoman-inspired design, is the newest gem in Dubai’s collection of iconic religious landmarks.

Covering more than 5,000 square meters, the mosque offers a peaceful prayer experience with expansive halls, a beautiful courtyard, dedicated ablution areas, and plenty of parking. It also features special spaces for people of determination, ensuring that the mosque is accessible to all worshippers.

Its a balance between modern design & tradition

The mosque can host 1,397 men and 250 women, making it a key place of worship, particularly during Ramadan. The Dubai Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department (IACAD) calls it “a model for modern mosques that meet the diverse needs of the community.”

The grand opening was graced by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Officials highlighted that the new mosque embodies Dubai’s dedication to boosting its religious infrastructure and providing top-notch services for both worshippers and visitors.

With its stunning design and cutting-edge facilities, this mosque is poised to become a beloved spiritual center in Dubai Marina.
