Several UAE airlines have announced flight cancellations nationwide due to regional tensions and airspace restrictions.
Emirates flight cancellations
Emirates Airline has temporarily paused all flights to and from Iraq, Iran, Jordan, and Lebanon amid the changing security situation.
- Amman (Jordan) and Beirut (Lebanon) — flights suspended through Sunday, June 22
- Tehran (Iran), Baghdad, and Basra (Iraq) — flights suspended through Monday, June 30
Etihad flight cancellations
Etihad Airways from Abu Dhabi is still facing disruptions due to regional airspace closures, especially on routes to Israel, Jordan, and Lebanon.
- Flights between Abu Dhabi and Tel Aviv are canceled until June 17.
- Flights to Amman and Beirut have resumed but with updated schedules for passengers with existing bookings.

Wizz Air flight cancellations
Budget airline Wizz Air has confirmed it’s suspending all flights to and from Tel Aviv and Amman until June 20.
They also warned that flights passing through the affected airspace might experience disruptions. Passengers can choose free rebooking or request a full refund—either in WIZZ credits or back to their original payment method. If you booked through a third party, make sure to reach out to them directly.
flydubai flight cancellations
flydubai has paused flights to multiple destinations due to the ongoing crisis and airspace restrictions:
- Jordan, Lebanon, and Syria — suspended until June 16
- Minsk (Belarus) and St. Petersburg (Russia) — canceled until June 17
- Iran, Iraq, and Israel — suspended until June 20
