Gulfood event transportation

Going to Gulfood The venue can be reached in the following ways.

Here are your options…

Gulfood is back in Dubai this week, running from February 17 to 20, drawing foodies and culinary experts from all over the UAE and beyond. If you’re planning to check out the stands, sample some tasty bites, or enjoy a meal, here’s a major tip: Plan ahead…

There are a few ways to get to the venue, but expect some heavy traffic. Take a look at all your options and figure out what suits you best.

Dubai RTA taxi

Here’s all the ways to get to Gulffood 2025

You can easily grab a Dubai RTA taxi to head to the venue, but make sure to plan ahead and leave early, as traffic can get heavy, especially along Sheikh Zayed Road. Expect congestion stretching from Dubai Mall and Business Bay all the way to the Dubai World Trade Centre. Plus, be ready for a higher fare than usual due to the increased demand.

If you’re looking to save a few dirhams, book a taxi through the Careem App to enjoy a 20% discount (up to Dhs20) on two rides per day. The discount applies to all cars except Hala, and you can use it for both your trip to and from the venue. Just remember to apply the promo code GULFOOD25 before you book!

You can also take advantage of the RTA’s free shuttle bus service running between Dubai Mall and Al Wasl Club from 8am to 8pm. The bus will drop you off at the Gulfood Transportation Hub, where you can either walk to the venue or hop on another bus to the Exhibition Plaza. Heading back? The shuttle will take you back to the hub, where you can catch the bus to either Dubai Mall or Al Wasl Club.

If crowded metros don’t phase you, top up your nol card and head to the nearest Dubai Metro station to get to the venue. The Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) Metro station is probably the most affordable way to reach the venue (unless you’re walking), but keep in mind you’ll be navigating not just the Gulfood crowds but regular commuters as well. If you’re new to Dubai, make sure to follow the rules and listen to the officials at the venue. You could get fined for being in the wrong cabins, so stay alert!

*Take note, it’s now Dhs25 per hour for parking at DWTC during major events*

If you really need to drive to the venue, be aware that parking spots are limited:

There’s also paid parking available a short walk from the venue at One Za’abeel (location). It’s a bit farther, but definitely within walking distance to the venue.

If you’d prefer to keep your car but avoid driving all the way to the venue, here are some nearby parking facilities to consider:

These options are a bit farther out, but they give you convenient access to the venue without the hassle of battling traffic right at the site!
