Uber School has officially launched in Dubai, in partnership with the city’s Roads & Transport Authority (RTA). This service makes school runs safer, more convenient, and budget-friendly, all in one go. The app gives parents peace of mind, knowing their kids are in good hands on their way to school.
If your child is over eight, they can use Uber School for their daily commute. It’s part of the Uber Teens accounts, designed to streamline school runs by offering affordable rides with built-in parental supervision and key safety features. This new service makes it easier for families to juggle their hectic routines.
Uber School trips are available exclusively from 6am to 6pm, so students can also use the service for extracurricular activities after school hours. The new service offers up to 35% off, helping parents save on each ride. With Uber School, parents can track trips in real-time, getting updates on the driver’s name, vehicle details, and live location. Plus, you can set up PIN verification for extra security, and audio recording is available for added peace of mind during trips.
Uber School is a feature of Uber Teens, which debuted in the UAE last year. With Uber Teens, parents or guardians can invite their teens (ages 13-17) to set up a personalized Uber account, allowing them to request their own rides while still staying under parental supervision.
