The RTA has just brought back the abra water taxis along the Dubai Canal, making it super easy for residents and workers to hop over to hotspots like Marasi and the Dubai Design District. What Are Dubai Abra Operating Hours?

You can hop on an abra from Monday to Saturday between 8 AM and 10 PM, and on Sundays from 10 AM to 10 PM. They run every 30 to 50 minutes, offering a convenient way to get around!

The DC2 route links key spots across Business Bay, giving you fast and direct access to various locations. Here’s where you can catch a ride or disembark:

Looking to reach Dubai Design District or hop on the Metro? The DC3 route is your go-to option! It connects Al Jaddaf Marine Transport Station with Dubai Design District, making it simple to access Al Jaddaf Metro Station on the Green Line.

How to Purchase Tickets

You can grab tickets directly at the marine stations, or buy them online to save some time. Here’s how:

  • Head over to the RTA’s marine website.
  • Select ‘Dubai Canal’ and pick the ‘abra’ option.
  • Choose your route, specify the number of tickets, and enter your details to finalize your payment.

Once you complete the purchase, you’ll get an email with a QR code to scan at the station. For the AED 2 fare, you can pay with cash, a Nol card, or credit/debit cards. And here’s some great news: kids under five and People of Determination ride for free!
