Check off stargazing in the desert from your bucket list with one of the most mind-blowing cosmic events of the year…
It might be the final meteor shower of the year, but it’s definitely not one to miss. This December, the UAE skies will dazzle with the annual Geminid meteor shower, lighting up the night with shooting stars.
The Geminid meteor shower is famous for being one of the top and most dependable annual events, peaking on Friday, December 13th, late into the night and stretching into the early hours of Saturday, December 14th, 2024.
The Dubai Astronomy Group describes it as a stunning event, noting that while the full moon will light up the desert skies, slightly dimming the meteors, it still creates a truly magical atmosphere for stargazing lovers.
The Dubai Astronomy Group is offering exclusive spots for guests to experience the spectacular show up close. Secure your spot to join their expert team and fellow stargazers on December 13th from 9 PM to 1 AM (the next morning) at Al Qudra Desert to witness this celestial spectacle.
